Ensure printer is powered on with no error lights. Check for paper jams, empty ink/toner warnings, or error messages on the display. Turn printer off, wait 30 seconds, and turn back on.
Open Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Click your printer > Open queue. Click Printer menu and uncheck 'Use Printer Offline'. This tells Windows to send jobs to the printer.
Press Windows+R, type 'services.msc' and press Enter. Find 'Print Spooler', right-click and select Restart. This clears stuck print jobs and resets the printing service.
Go to Device Manager > Print queues. Right-click your printer and select Update driver. Choose 'Search automatically' or download latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Select your printer and click Remove device. Restart your computer, then add the printer again using 'Add a printer or scanner'.
